Lev Shestov and the Apostle Paul

I respond to someone at Arts & Faith who says that Shestov is a purveyor of “bilge” and “Besides, I seem to remember Shestov specifically criticizing some of the epistles of the apostle Paul.”  The value of Shestov’s work is, of course, a matter of opinion, but the claim that Shestov criticized the Apostle Paul isn’t – Shestov either did, or he didn’t.  To the best of my knowledge, he didn’t, and I present evidence to support my assertion.
